Description:
Item ID: 429
Price: 5 200 EUR
Land: 1 500 sq. m.
Location: Bulgaria, near Svishtov, Veliko Tarnovo
Property situated near the center of a very picuresque village in Veliko Tarnovo area. The property spreads over 1500 sq. m. of land; the house is solid, brick-built, single-storeyed in overall very good condition.
The first part of the house comprises of a glazed entrance-hall, a corridor, a room, a kitchen and an attached bathroom.
Outer cement stairs are leading to the second part/level, which offers another two rooms, a closet and a corridor. As there is plenty of space bricking-up another inner bathroom would be no problem.
Yet there is an attic having the same floorage as the second part. This is a great opportunity of turning it into additional living area, or adding a second floor.
Underneath the house is the cellar. It could be used by its original purpose- as a storage, or it could easily be transformed into anything else (a nice authentic tavern or a wine-cellar).
Outside the house is the yard. Spreading over 1500 sq.m. of land, well-kept and absolutely plane, it provides numerous opportunities. Bulding-in a swiming-pool is an excellent idea of what it could be done in order to increase the value of the property and add more charm to it.
The property is easy accessible through all seasons via an asphalt road in good condition. A big advantage is the presence of big double-sized gate, which gives the opportunity of parking several cars into the yard.
Water and electricity are connected to mains, Cable TV and Internet could easily be provided. There are water fountains inside the house and outside in the yard. The property is in overall good condition, but for more comfort would naturally need some renovation work.

Aleksandrovo was named after the Russian Emperor Alexander II, also known in Bulgaria as „the Liberator“, as he had led Russia in the famous Russian-Ottoman War, which he won. The Emperor's first General Headquarters after crossing the Danube River over had been two kilometers away, in the neighbour village of Gorna Studena. Nowadays there is a beautiful and authentic war museum, to remind of the battles from this war.
The village has very communicative position as it is close to the International Road. Nevertheless it is cosy, quiet and charming. It offers all basic facilities – food shops, local pubs, post office, etc. The nearest big shopping centre is in the town of Svishtov - about 15 minutes drive.
