It consists of many islands and peninsulas, parallel with the coastline, protecting a lagoon shaped like a labyrinth of canals and little rivers. As you can imagine the lagoon is abundant in shellfish such as oysters, cockles and clams. Fuzeta and Armona are the islands close to Olhao and that can be quickly reached by boats, that make regular trips from marina village. There are long bars of fine sand and warm waters which will offer you both peace and quite in the less visited zones; and more exciting water activities: canoeing, sailing, fishing and diving.
