The prices of Uzumlu properties, especially new build, are significantly lower than other parts of Turkey but have great growth potential. The attraction to Uzumlu also lies in the fact that it is relatively undeveloped as compared to Hisaronu, Ovacik and Calis (other local villages). These areas rely greatly on the tourist season and therefore they are overloaded with tourists in the summer and practically deserted in the winter. Uzumlu day-to-day life carries on regardless of the time of year and there is a real sense of community. The locals have welcomed foreigners who have bought in the area and are pleased to see the progress lifting the profile and standards within their village. The scenery is so stunning that it is difficult to put into words, it really has to be seen to be believed. Uzumlu has that magical quality which is difficult to find and we highly recommend a visit before purchasing anywhere else.
